For the second cake decorating course at Michaels, it was all about flowers, flowers, and more flowers! The first assignment was to make as many flowers as you could.
One night I made around 15 and when I came into the kitchen the next morning, I found ants all over my flowers. Hours and hours of hard work all down the drain! Those flowers all went in the trash and I had to start over. So here was my second batch.
All the flowers were used for a flower basket cake.
I love the weaving technique and all the flowers made the cake so colorful.
