I’ve tried so many lip balms and lip butters, but nothing compares to my strawberry ChapStick. If someone invented a lipstick that felt the same and was as moisturizing as my good ol’ ChapStick, I’d be in heaven. So when I heard about Revlon’s new Colorburst Lip Butters, I was super excited. These lip butters glide on sooooo smoothly, give a good amount of color, and really moisturize. They’re similar to Clinique’s Butter Shine Lipsticks, but for half the price.
They come in about 20 different shades with some really bright colors. Of course I stuck with the neutral tones. =)
You can apply one layer for a sheer tint or build up the color. Look at the sheen…so much moisture!
^005 Sugar Frosting – very sheer, but would work well on top of a darker lipstick to tone down the color
^045 Cotton Candy
^050 Berry Smoothie
^085 Sugar Plum
^025 Peach Parfait
^095 Creme Brulee
^020 Brown Sugar
What I like most is that it gives a subtle shine so there’s no need for lip gloss. I rarely bother with liner, lipstick, and gloss so these lip butters are perfect.
I’ve heard they’re available at Rite Aid and Walgreens, but my local stores didn’t carry them. After going to two different CVS stores, I finally found them. Check out your local CVS soon because they’re currently buy one get one 50% off. =)
